From the north (Vermont)

Travel south on I-91 until Springfield

Take exit 14 for I-90 West/Westfield/Albany

Take exit 2 for US-20/Lee/Pittsfield

Follow the signs for Route 102 South to Stockbridge. Take Route 102 South, through Stockbridge, to the intersection with Route 7. The Red Lion Inn will be on your left, at the intersection.

Turn Left, and take Route 7 South into Great Barrington. After crossing a small bridge and turning left (at a traffic light), Route 7 becomes Main Street.

Drive down Main Street, passing a large Berkshire Bank time and weather sign on your right. After two more blocks, turn right onto Castle Street (at a traffic light). You will see the theater’s marquee on your right.
From the south (Hartford, CT)

Directions From Major Roadways
From Boston and points east

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) West to exit 2 for US-20 east.

Turn left onto US-20 east, then take the 1st right onto MA-102 (W/Pleasant St).

Continue to follow MA-102 west.

Turn left onto US-7 south (South St).

Turn left onto Main Street.

Just beyond St. James Episcopal Church, turn right onto St. James Place.

The main college entrance is 1.8 miles ahead on the right.
From Albany and points west

Take the New York State Thruway (I-90) to Exit B3 (Canaan, NY).

Follow Route 22 south for 0.7 miles and turn left onto Route 102 east.

Stay on Route 102 for 2.5 miles to West Stockbridge.

Turn right onto Route 41 south for 10.5 miles to Great Barrington, where it becomes Main Street. At the fourth set of traffic lights, just beyond St. James Episcopal Church, turn right onto St. James Place.

The main college entrance is 1.8 miles ahead on the right.
From Connecticut

Take I-84 or US-44 to US-7. Follow US-7 north to Great Barrington, where it becomes Main Street.

At the third traffic light, turn left onto St. James Place.

From New York, New Jersey, and points south

Take the Taconic Parkway north to the Hillsdale/Claverack exit (Route 23).

Follow NY/MA Route 23 east for 17.5 miles, until it meets US-7 north in Great Barrington.

Turn left at the traffic light onto US-7/MA-23.

At the next traffic light, turn left onto St. James Place.

The main college entrance is 1.8 miles ahead on the right.

Parking At The Colonial Theatre
Many commercial lots within a one-block radius are available for parking after 5:00pm. On-street parking is free after 5:00pm on weekdays, and all day on weekends. Guaranteed parking is available at the Crowne Plaza Hotel parking garage. This is a paid lot, but parking is free to bar or dining room patrons. If coming from the south, the lot can be accessed by turning left on Church Street in front of the Colonial and taking an immediate right. The lot is on the right. If coming from the north, the lot can be accessed by turning right onto West Street and taking an immediate left into the Crowne Plaza main entrance.
