Celebrate Women's History Month with "The Trial of Susan B. Anthony" in your classroom!


For a limited time, this recorded performance will be available to educators in March of 2021 in observance of Women's History Month, with gratitude to our educators who continue to inform and inspire. 


This program is available to schools free of charge and comes with a Teacher's Guide containing additional resources and lesson plans related to the subject.  A link to the student Q&A below will also be sent with the educational materials.

Having premiered on October 26, 2020 The Trial of Susan B. Anthony stars mezzo-soprano Adriana Zabala who plays multiple roles, including a judge, two attorneys, one witness, and Susan B. Anthony herself in this seven-movement piece outlining the activist’s quest for justice. She is joined by pianist Myra Huang.

This premiere came amidst the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, inviting conversation about this milestone of democracy, along with the work that remains to achieve gender and racial equity.
